Overview

The Electrician is responsible for leading and managing electricians at the branch. As the main point of contact for electricians, this person should be fully competent in all aspects of solar electrical installation.

What You'll Do

  • Manage, lead, train, and motivate all electricians in the branch
  • Collaborate with Director of Operations and HR department for hiring of electricians
  • Manage all electricians, including reviews, compensation, and corrective actions
  • Proficient in all aspects of solar electrical installation for roof mount and ground mount systems
  • Proficient in service changes, main panel upgrades, and retrofit electrical work
  • Proficient in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting systems and components
  • Ability to read schematics and follow technical installation instructions
  • Work on roofs, ladders, crawlspaces, attics and other residential and commercial areas
  • Keep up to date with NEC code requirements
  • Train electricians on safety standards

Who You Are

Journeyman Electrical License Required (minimum requirement), with extensive knowledge of electrical installation and electrical code. Be comfortable climbing a ladder and working on a roof, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with management or leadership experience preferred.
