Overview

The Solar Installer is responsible for assisting the installation team safely installing roof and ground mounted solar systems.

What You'll Do

  • Follows the company's Safety Policy including obtaining Fall Protection Certification from Click Safety (1.5 HR course) and Electrical Safety Certification from Click Safety (0.4 HR course)
  • Assist in loading and unloading company vehicles, and maintaining a clean job site and work truck
  • Install rooftop and ground-mount solar PV systems including flashing, racking, module level and maintain power electronics (microinverters and optimizers), array wiring, and junction boxes
  • Work in a fast-paced, demanding work environment including on roofs, ladders, crawlspaces, attics, and other residential and commercial areas
  • Interact with clients in a respectful manner and provide excellent customer service
  • Other related duties as required

Who You Are

Be comfortable climbing a ladder and working on a steep sloped roof and maintaining company tools. Have strong mechanical aptitude and high attention to detail. Travel may be required and you must be able to lift up to 50lbs repetitively.
