Overview

The Solar Consultant is responsible for visiting customers in their homes and educating them on residential solar. The Solar Consultant will visit appointments and company leads assigned, as well as generate appointments through their own means.

What You'll Do

  • Educate and empower homeowners within the local community about the benefits of solar and the life-changing savings it can provide, while matching customer requirements and needs to specific products and solutions
  • Learn new sales techniques and applying them to your customer approach, and attend team meetings to set sales targets, forecasts and goals
  • Accurately process customer transactions, including orders and quotes
  • Follow company and departmental policies regarding conduct and employee performance
  • Other related duties as required

Who You Are

Sales or consulting background recommended, but not required. Company training and materials will be provided on-site.

We're looking for individuals who are honest, empathetic, organized, and communicative. For this position you'll need strong decision-making, conflict resolution, creative problem-solving skills, and be self-motivated.
