Position Details

Description

We’re a fast-moving, performance-driven company that helps clients dominate both local and national search results. Our team blends creativity, data, and technology to drive real results—and we’re looking for a highly technical SEO expert with web development experience to join us in Denver. If you live and breathe search algorithms, know how to optimize complex websites at scale, and have a developer's mindset, we want to talk.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits and implement solutions to improve crawlability, indexation, site speed, and user experience

  • Implement SEO enhancements directly into front-end and back-end systems

  • Optimize for both local SEO (map pack visibility, citations, local landing pages) and national SEO (content scaling, technical infrastructure)

  • Own the structure and performance of large-scale websites, including schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and site migrations

  • Use your dev skills to write or review code related to SEO fixes (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, etc.)

  • Manage and optimize robots.txt, XML sitemaps, redirects, canonical tags, hreflang, etc.

  • Build and maintain SEO dashboards, monitor performance metrics, and deliver actionable reports to internal teams and clients

  • Stay on top of search engine algorithm changes and translate those into strategy adjustments

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience in technical SEO, preferably on both local and national campaigns

  • Solid web development experience (you should be comfortable getting into the code)

  • Strong understanding of search engine behavior, site architecture, rendering, and crawl budgets

  • Familiarity with frameworks like WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, React, or custom CMS setups

  • Hands-on with tools like Google Search Console, GA4, Tag Manager, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, and PageSpeed Insights

  • Deep knowledge of local SEO strategies including GMB optimization, local schema, citation building, and geo-targeted landing pages

  • Experience with structured data (JSON-LD), Core Web Vitals, and technical performance tuning

  • A problem-solving mindset, strong attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into strategy

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly explain technical issues to non-technical team members

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience managing large multi-location websites

  • Knowledge of cloud hosting, CDNs, or server-side rendering impacts on SEO

  • Familiarity with automation tools, Python, or SEO scripts
